What was the world like when it was much colder than today? During the glacial period 40,000 years ago, humans lived alongside mammoths and other giant animals in a harsh, cold environment. Some of the species from that time became extinct, while others have survived.
This exhibition looks at the animal and human species that lived during this period, and explores the mysteries that determined their fates.
